Petrochemical Safety Package is a six program DVD package that provides safety training for emergency responders and industry personnel who work with or who may respond to emergencies involving petroleum.
The six programs in this package include:
Incident Command System (ICS) for Industry DVD training video series demonstrates how industries can prepare to effectively handle an incident in order to avert a crisis. It describes how to set up and implement an Incident Command System that will work effectively with public safety organizations. The three programs in this series are Incident Management, Response Organization, and EOC & Crisis Management.
Hydrogen Sulfide trains petroleum workers, emergency responders and other workers who may encounter H2S about the dangers of the gas, which is rated by the National Fire Protection Association and other agencies as extremely hazardous. This program discusses recommended protective clothing, symptoms of exposure, ventilation and much more. Also includes Instructor's CD-ROM.
Petroleum Storage Tanks examines above-ground, low-pressure storage tanks for flammable and combustible liquids, showing tank features and explaining how accidents commonly happen. It stresses the importance of pre-incident planning. The program also portrays offensive, defensive and non-intervention strategies for tank fires.
Foam teaches emergency responders what they need to know to select, prepare, generate and apply foam to a Class A or B fire or hazardous materials spill. This program has been awarded the prestigious Telly Award, as well as the Golden Eagle award from the Council of International Non-Theatrical Events (CINE).
